The 90 s Suck and So Do You is the first Angry Samoans recording of the decade. Led by rock critic, guitarist, and singer Metal Mike Saunders, the revamped Samoans blast their way through eight new songs of pure power-pop punk. While the entire disc clocks in at only a shade over 13 minutes, it does contain several worthwhile moments. Grinding out sarcastic rockers like I d Rather Do the Dog and Letter from Uncle Sam, the Samoans play with enthusiasm and ability. Suzy s a Loser illustrates Saunders s unassuming voice as well his goofy sense of humor. Beat Your Heart Out is straight from the style of the Ramones, but not as good. The guitar playing is sharp, energetic, and totally in keeping with Saunders s semi-serious, punk-joke vision. --Mitch Myers

umm Samoans never broke up man - so this was no reunion album. Sure it isn t Back From Samoa but neither was Yesterday Started Tomorrow & STP Not LSD. It s faster then the last 2 mentioned albums, and it s not a Ramones copy album. It s punk rock. If anyone wants to label a band a Ramones copy band you better start one hell of a list Mr. Punk Rock...Where does the line start? Could it have happened before the Ramones even existed? You bet...Perfectly titled. The 90 s Suck And So Do You (all)

hmmm.... - Does every mildly popular old punk band have to do some... reuinion now? Nothing sadder than a bunch of former punks that have become yuppies and now look at their old bands as a way to make big money in their old age.

ANGRY IN THE 1990 S - SURE THIS ONE-SIDED LP SOUNDS SIMILAR TO THE RAMONES, BUT THE TUNES ARE STILL GOOD AND FUNNY. I LIKE IT.

hmmmm... - this was an okay album. its kinda slow for me and doesn t get me pumped like lights out does and i thought that the older angry samoans were better and more energetic but this album is still rad.

POP-PUNK - Its not the Angry Samoans I remember... Its slow and short . . . Once again its true what they say every band starts out on fire but burn OUT . ..
